We can review only a small fraction of the books sent to us. Here are a couple we haven't yet matched with the right reviewers:

The Wrath of Almighty God! 2026 A.D., by Mark A. Barclay. The author (not to be confused with the William Barclay of the Daily Study Bible series) claims that he is not trying to set a date for the Second Coming of Christ and he believes that Christ could come any time, but he is placing his bets on the year 2026. According to the book blurb, Barclay "is a committed man of God who has studied the Bible for years on this very subject. He humbly admits that this book of prophecy was written with a lot of help from the Holy Spirit." That's humility all fight. And given that kind of assistance, who can justifiably critique it?

The Aquarian Bible, by S. Shihan Goh. This book comes from "the manifestation of the knowledge of the esoteric teachers of the Third Dimensional planet Earth, and the inspirations from the Higher Dimensions." Goh's premise is that each of us has an "in-built ... tiny microchip that carries the omnipotent power of God that is meant to evolve ... "The discipline which informs this work is "omnipotentology," the "Aquarian-Age science for the stimulation and manifestation of this image of God that is within us all." Naturally, the author is the "founder-master" of this discipline.

Now back to the mail room. Maybe there will be something on the eschatology of omnipotentology.
