Joan Brown Campbell, general secretary of the National Council of Churches, was co-leader of the U.S. religious leaders' delegation to Belgrade. She is an ordained minister of the Christian Church (Disciples of Christ) and American Baptist Churches in the U.S.A. Leonid Kishkovsky, a delegation member, is a priest of the Orthodox Church in America and a former NCC president.
