Caption: A DIFFERENT APPROACH: Following publicity over its "church bouncers" TV ad that was rejected by CBS and NBC as too controversial, the United Church of Christ said it bought time before Christmas on those two networks for a different ad with an "all-welcome" theme. The 30-second commercial shows a young girl playing "Here's the church, here's the steeple ...," then showing diverse worshipers, including an apparently lesbian couple.
