Baylor University's George W. Truett Theological Seminary and the McAfee School of Theology at Mercer University have been fully accredited by the Association of Theological Schools

* Baylor University's George W. Truett Theological Seminary and the McAfee School of Theology at Mercer University have been fully accredited by the Association of Theological Schools. The Waco, Texas, school opened in the fall of 1994 and the McAfee school opened in Atlanta in 1996. Both schools are also accredited by the Southern Association of Colleges and Schools through their connections to universities.
ATS accreditation will allow them to qualify for grants. Also, graduates of the schools may be accepted at other accredited schools.
