A majority of U.S. adults (61 percent) regard gambling as "morally acceptable," a Barna Research Group poll finds. While gambling scored the highest approval among ten topics in the survey, the use of illicit drugs received the lowest percentage of approval (17 percent). A majority also said cohabitation (60 percent) and enjoying sexual fantasies about someone (59 percent) are morally OK.
Forty-five percent said abortion is morally acceptable, while 42 percent said adultery is morally OK.
