With tiffs issue, Richard A. Kauffman becomes the CHRISTIAN CENTURY's book review editor. An associate editor with the CENTURY since 2002, Kauffman has extensive experience as a writer, editor, pastor and seminary administrator and teacher. He has degrees from Eastern Baptist Theological Seminary, Temple University and Princeton Theological Seminary.

At the same time we regretfully say goodbye to Donald B. Ottenhoff, who as senior editor and book review editor has been responsible for much of the lively material in these pages. He takes his talents to the Institute for Ecumenical and Cultural Research in Collegeville, Minnesota, where he will be executive director.
