* R. Scott Rodin, president of Eastern Baptist Theological Seminary in Wynnewood, Pennsylvania, has announced his resignation, effective next June. By then, Rodin will have served the American Baptist-related seminary five years as president and four as vice president for fund raising. Rodin said he felt called to be more actively involved in teaching, preaching and writing, and his family wished to return to its native Pacific Northwest.
