* The news article headlined "Presbyterian split is possible, leaders say" (October 24-31), based on a Presbyterian News Service story, incorrectly stated that the PCUSA Committee on the Office of the General Assembly authorized a budget to train teams of former General Assembly moderators to visit with churches planning to join the Confessing Church Movement.
The news service later said the action was instead to authorize the moderator and stated clerk to invite former moderators to be available to churches and presbyteries considering withholding funds or withdrawing from the denomination.
