* The 15-member board of the one-year-old Foundation for a Conference on Faith and Order in North America ha reaffirmed its intent to convene by 2005 a gathering that would deal with longstanding theological divisions. Meeting at the end of November at Princeton Theological Seminary, the board agreed to sponsor and provide study materials for groups meeting in the time leading up to the gathering--expected to be notable for participation by Catholic, Orthodox, mainline Protestant, evangelical, holiness and Pentecostal churches.

The foundation's executive director is William G. Rusch, a longtime Lutheran ecumenist.
