Uncompleted suicide

> UNCOMPLETED SUICIDE: An Oregon man's attempt at doctor-assisted suicide took a bizarre twist. David E. Prueitt, 42, who had lung cancer, awoke from a coma three days after ingesting a supposedly lethal dose of doctor-prescribed medication. He died 16 days later on February 15 of natural causes. Prueitt's wife, Lynda Romig, standing in her Estacada home by a box with his ashes, placed under his favorite bonsai plant, said that when he regained consciousness, he asked, "What the hell happened? Why am I not dead?"
