Eastern News - Tsui Hark's film 'Time and Tide' released in Asia - Brief Article

Film Comment, Nov, 2000

Following its world premiere at the Toronto Film Festival, hardest-working-man-in-show-business Tsui Hark's Time and Tide was released throughout Asia in October. The first film to be fully funded by Columbia Pictures Production Asia, the film marks Tsui's return to Hong Kong after an exceedingly weird stretch in Hollywood.

An American release of this eye-popping film is expected, but there's no date as of yet. In the meantime, you might have to resort to scouring your local Chinatown for tapes or VCDs. We don't endorse video piracy, but this one is unmissable.
