Superbachelors Of 2002 - Letters To The Editor - Letter to the Editor
Ebony, August, 2002
I was very enthused to see the article, "Superbachelors Of 2002" in your June issue. My!! My!! My!! I called my daughter immediately. She is a single, 22-year-old loan officer with no children. She is also president of a religious group for young adults.
People like to stereotype our Black men, saying all the good Black men are either locked up or dead. I am happy to see that there are still some good Black men out there.
LISA MERRITT Ville Platte, La.
Sitting in my car, taking a lunch break, I came across the 2002 bachelor section and was instantly spellbound when my eyes bore into the eyes of one of the sexiest men I've ever seen. This man had me speechless; immediately I knew I had to send a special thanks to his parents for creating such a beautiful specimen. The Carolina Panthers running back, Joseph Montgomery, is gorgeous to the 10th power. This is my first time ever responding to any issue in a magazine, but when I saw this sexy, handsome man, I could not deny myself the satisfaction to let him know how beautiful he is. Yes, I meet his qualifications and more, but above all, I had to give this man his props.
