I just finished "EBONY's Surprising Music Poll" (June 2002), and I agreed with most of the results.
However, I think Shirley Caesar is the greatest female gospel singer ever. I have all of her music and I would like to make a strong appeal to anyone who hasn't heard her latest CD, Hymns,that you are certainly missing a blessing. It is the most uplifting and inspirational music.
Make no mistake about it, Yolanda Adams is a good singer, but there is no way she can top the dynamic Shirley Caesar.
