1 Your real name is Chris Bridges. How did you get the nickname Ludacris?

"The name comes from the way I describe my music, and the fact that my first name is Chris. Ludacris means crazy & wild and ridiculous. My music is a little fun in people's lives."

2 Your last album, Word Mouf, was multiplatinum and one of the biggest-selling hip-hop CDs of all time. What do you have in store for your fans on your album?

"The new CD, Chicken & Beer, will take everything to the next level. I want to be the most versatile MC I be. I want longevity. The new CD the kind of stuff people expect from me, plus some other things. My rap is always moving in a new direction, and it always will be."

3 You co-starred in the summer hit movie 2 Fast 2 Furious. How do you like acting?

"Acting was a great and very different experience. ent ball game. You can shoot a video for two days, but shoot a movie for two years. It definitely takes a lot of and skill that doesn't necessarily come overnight."

4 You're from Atlanta. What do you like best about the South?

"Atlanta is like the Motown of the South. Everything catfish to the grits to riding in Cadillacs, from the hot weather--Hotlanta--to the women. I love everything. It's the package that keeps the creative juices flowing."

5 How's your love life at moment?

"I'm single right now, but I always keep my options open."
