Thanks for the article, "Is It Open Season On Black Men?" (April 2004). Harry Edwards touched my soul, in many ways. No, I don't have the social status of a Kobe Bryant, Mystical or Michael Jackson, but I'm a weapon of mass liberation. I'm a 21-year-old self-conscious Black man. I know where I'm going, and most importantly, where I've come from. I wholesale merchandise and promote underground music. I would love to be a journalist, chief, politician, civil rights activist, better father, and much more.
No weapon formed against "us" shall prosper. All "Black Men" should feel this way. Stand Tall and be proud!
