IN INGLEWOOD, CALIF., Shaquille O'Neal celebrates after receiving his master of business administration from the University of Phoenix. The perennial NBA All-Star says he hopes to earn one more master's degree before pursuing a Ph.D. in criminal justice. That will prepare him, he says, for a career in law enforcement after he decides to retire as a professional basketball player.

IN ORLANDO (below), multitalented entertainer Chris Rock and his family enjoy a visit to Disney-MGM Studios, one of the four theme parks at Walt Disney World Resort in Florida. Rock, an internationally recognized comedian and actor, poses with his daughter Lola while his wife, Malaak, holds their I-year-old sleeping daughter Zahra. The family traveled to Disney World to celebrate Lola's third birthday.

IN PHILADELPHIA (above), multitalented entertainer Stevie Wonder performs in front of thousands who crowded (right) near the Philadelphia Museum of Art as part of the Live 8 concert. The Live 8 concerts, which were held in various cities around the world, were part of a campaign to prompt the world's richest nation's to cancel debt, increase aid to developing countries and promote trade. Much of the Live 8 campaign's focus was on Africa.

IN DETROIT (left), CeCe Winans joins Dwayne Whitehead in song during a tribute to her brother Ronald Winans, who died of a heart condition. The tribute, held at the Rev. Marvin Winans' church, Perfecting Church, included such guests as the Rev. Jesse L. Jackson. Ronald Winans, the second eldest of the 10 Winans siblings, was part of the quartet, The Winans, who included his brothers, Marvin, Carvin and Michael. Ronald Winans was 48.
