Jada is constantly traveling, and packing can sometimes present a problem. "I'm touring 176 cities with the Ebony Fashion Fair, and I try not to overpack. But the truth is, I can't help it," she says, laughing. "I'm very picky about everything that I wear, and I dress according to how I feel. I never know how I'm going to feel from day-to-day, so I pack everything!" (Tip: One lucky Ebony Fashion Fair attendee in each city will win round trip air transportation for two to any destination served by American Airlines or American Eagle in the 48 contiguous states.) Jada encourages all Sisters to travel in a vehicle that offers versatility, comfort and safety. Jada's preparation for the Ebony Fashion Fair is ongoing, and it intensifies during the final moments before she goes onstage. "Backstage, we are prepping the models and wardrobe assistants. We are checking our makeup and making certain that our gowns and jewels are all lined up. I must also perform vocal exercises and meditate before I go onstage."

Getting the Royal Treatment
Sure, her days are hectic, but Jada never misses an opportunity to re-energize her body and rejuvenate her skin. "I believe in the power of pampering. Not only does pampering make you look good, but there is also a certain amount of spiritual pampering that's involved when you take time out to care for yourself. I try to get manicures, pedicures, scalp treatments and facials at least once a month. And I always pack my Fashion Fair cleansing products to give my skin a boost between facials."
