The article, "The Day They Marched" (Aug. 2003) was very inspiring and well done. I am an African-American woman, and I remember my parents telling me and my brother of the struggles during the Civil Rights Movement.
Yes, it has been 40 years since the March on Washington and some progress has been made, but so much more is needed. We have come this far by faith, so let's continue to pray and ask God for strength to endure.
