I must comment after reading the article, "Infertility: Help For Couples Trying To Conceive" (Aug. 2005). It is imperative that you alert readers to another cause of infertility in the African-American community--infertility caused by sexually transmitted diseases. Hundreds of thousands of African-Americans each year are infected with diseases such as Chlamydia and gonorrhea and often go untreated.
Please, EBONY, keep up the good work.
