Even though the Apple iPhone has already dropped its price and has been garnering most of the media attention lately--industry research group iSuppli said in July it outsold all smart phones from Blackberry, Palm, Samsung, Motorola and Nokia---cell phone makers have not been entirely asleep, launching a slew of new "smart" phones for the holiday rush. Usually, the coolest phones still come out first in Europe and Asia, but the U.S. is not standing still. Here is a look at some of the latest offerings that are heading our way:
