Editor's Note: In the article, "New Cars For 2002" (Nov. 2001), the Cadillac Escalade (above) was mistakenly omitted and the Buick Rendezvous appeared in its designated spot on page 164. The Cadillac Escalade creates a new standard of sport-utility vehicles with its best-in-class 345-horsepower V-8 engine, programmable daytime running headlamps and luxurious interior.
The Escalade also features the OnStar safety and security network as part of its standard equipment.
