"Blessed" is a word both use frequently now in describing their business and personal lives. The devastating World Trade Center and Pentagon attacks made them much more aware of how precious all their relationships are. When disaster struck, Tracey was in Toronto, working on Soul Food. Babyface, frighteningly, arrived by plane in New York City from Los Angeles to promote his new album minutes before the planes struck the Word Trade Center. His staff secured buses to get him and his crew out of New York and Tracey out of Canada. They spent almost five days getting back home.

The experience changed them both, and although they have a huge and growing and diverse entertainment empire, there is now a renewed and much more intense focus on the blessings they cherish most--family, health, and love.
