Toys and things for adults

Ebony,  Dec, 2005  by Joy Bennett Kinnon

IT'S a jolly good time of the year, and presents make it twice as nice. For adults adrift in shopping for dolls, video games and other gifts for the children, it's your season too. And this year, grownups will love their own toy selection, ranging from electronic gizmos and whatzits to sports gadgets.

Topping gift lists for kids from 16 to 60 is the new iPod that features a 2.5-inch screen that can play television shows, home movies and music videos and the iPod nano that still offers an impressive musical play list of 1,000 songs, but is less than half of the size of other players. Another new electronic that's bound to top the wish lists is Sony's new VAIO FJ-Series notebook computer in striking colors to release the inner fashionista.
