MUSIQ SOULCHILD is back with a third recording, SOULSTAR (Def Soul), that lights up the charts with good vibes and catchy rhythms. The multitalented artist continues to mesmerize listeners with his special brand of music. On this recording there are influences from Stevie Wonder and Donny Hathaway, but also from James Brown, David Bowie and Sly Stone.

Among the standouts are the feel-good "soulstar" and the ice-drenched ballad "who-knows" With producing/writing partners Carvin Haggins and Ivan Barias, Musiq again delivers music that just makes you just want to sing, nod your head and tap your feet.
