GENERAL MILLS DIVISION DIRECTOR
Eric Lucas (above) is director of Kids Snacks and Beverages Unlimited for General Mills, an international food company with $6 billion in annual revenues. In his new position, Lucas manages the division that manufactures Fruit Roll-Ups, Dunkaroos, String Things and Squeezit. A native of Gainesville, Fla., Lucas earned a bachelor's degree in business management from the University of Florida and an MBA from Atlanta University. The bachelor resides in Plymouth, Minn.
MCDONALD'S EXECUTIVE VICE PRESIDENT
Raymond C. Mines (above, right) is executive vice president, franchise relations for McDonald's Corporation in Naperville, Ill. In his current position, he is responsible for working with McDonald's USA's five divisions to provide leadership, strategic direction and to maintain a sharp focus on the needs and concerns of restaurant franchises. A native of Plainfield, N.J., Mines graduated from the Academy of Traffic and Transportation. He and his wife Joyce have two children.
MARITIME ADMINISTRATOR
Clyde J. Hart Jr. became administrator of the Maritime Administration following his nomination by President Clinton and confirmation by the United States Senate. He is the first African-American to hold this position. A veteran of the U.S. Air Force, Hart has a bachelor's degree in political science and history from St. Peter's College, a law degree from the Catholic University of America School of Law, and a master's in public policy from George Washington University. He lives in Washington, D.C.
