Durable, like diamonds, and just as resilient, comforting and sustaining like home cookin', Black love and Black history have trod the path together, hands intertwined. Black travel began with a flight toward freedom, an enduring pursuit that continues today. February's short month is long on opportunities for celebrating Black History Month activities, Carnival and Mardi Gras or Fat Tuesday. ATLANTA
* The Color Yellow: Beauford Delaney. One of the first solo exhibitions by this internationally acclaimed artist since his death in 1979. High Museum of Art. Feb. 9-May 5.
* Jar the Floor. Play featuring four generations of Black women who face a surprise guest while reuniting for a 90th birthday celebration. Alliance Theatre Company. Through March 3.
