Roy S. Roberts is national president of the Boy Scouts of America, based in Dallas. He oversees the organization's values-based programs, which involve more than 1.2 million volunteers and more than 3 million youth. Roberts also serves as chairman of the executive board, the executive committee and chairs the National Council meetings.
A former vice president and group executive of vehicle sales, service and marketing for General Motors, Roberts received his bachelor's degree in business administration from Western Michigan University and completed an executive development program at Harvard University's Graduate School of business. Roberts lives in Chicago with his wife Maureen and has four children--Ricky, Ronald, Robin and Katrina.
