The article, "Free For Christmas," (Dec. 2002), was very inspirational. The strenuous journey of The Underground Railroad was amazing. The pictures made it easier to visualize the harsh conditions they encountered. It really showed the passion and determination of the legendary Harriet Tubman. The article helped me to gain more focus and determination in my future career.
Also, it taught me to utilize every avenue available to me. The astounding strength and courage she had let me know not to be afraid to follow my dreams and to never to give up.
