The churches reach out - Letters to the Editor

Thank you for having the great article, "The Churches Reach Out" (Dec. 2002). For many years, less fortunate Blacks had to rely on White churches during holiday seasons. While this is something that should be done year-round, I feel proud seeing Black churches participate in feeding, clothing and entertaining our own.

This is a sign of our progression as a Black race. Commendations to those featured churches, those not mentioned and to you as well EBONY for reaching out to our communities!
