Hale Berry - Letters to the Editor
Ebony, Feb, 2003
I am so glad that you profiled Halle Berry among the "57 Most Intriguing Blacks Of 2002" (Nov. 2002). She is not only intriguing, but also beautiful, sexy and gifted.
I'm proud of Halle for becoming the first Black woman to win an Academy Award for the Best Actress.
ERIC L. GORDON Buffalo, N.Y.
I was very delighted with all of the talented Black people you have in your collection of the "57 Most Intriguing Blacks." You had a variety of new comers and faces we have seen for awhile, but I was disappointed to not see Aaliyah in it. Not because she has passed, but because of her outstanding accomplishments. Not only for her music, but also her acting success as well. She did a lot in her life that ended too soon.
