I am writing in regard to the article, "Congressman Danny Davis: Dealing With The Exploding Prison Population" (Dec. 2003). I am very impressed to see that Congressman Davis has taken the step to help ex-offenders. We are in desperate need of these programs. Ex-offenders are still human beings who deserve to be able to work and have normal, productive lives.
All respect to Congressman Davis for standing up and working hard to make a change for the people. God bless!
