Thanks for your engaging article, "Who's Lovin' Who? Remixing The Romance Can Make Love Better The Second Time Around" (Feb. 2008). As your writers pointed out, many marriages in America--especially in the entertainment world--dance through divorce courts when "the thrill is gone." It was good to see so many African-American and interracial "rich and famous" couples using wisdom gleaned from past marriages to sustain lasting--and healthy relationships.
Their blended families are thriving amid a world of fancy cars, multimillion-dollar homes and the paparazzi. What seemed to be a recurrent theme in their successful remixing is an ability to master three of the most important marital C's--commitment, common values and communication.
