I'm writing in response to the article, "The Greatest! Will Smith In The Ali Movie" (Jan. 2002). I believe that he was superb in the film Ali. He seemed to literally become "Cassius Clay." Critics were criticizing Smith before the movie was even released. I believe this possibly pushed him to elevate his performance in the picture.
Thank you for publishing this article because I am a great fan of both Muhammad Ali and Will Smith. The article really gave me some insight into both of their lives, and it inspired me to do what I believe, no matter what others say.
Smith is a great actor, and to witness him transform into one of the greatest men to ever walk the earth was breathtaking.
