I was reading the December issue of the EBONY magazine and came across the article, "From Homelessness To Med School To Medals To Millions" (Dec. 2001). I think that was a great and informative article.

There are a lot of people who think that they have nothing to look forward to, but that article may just encourage one person and show that person that if those people in the article could make it, so can other people. I know it encouraged me. And that article was a part of my motivation. I always wanted (and still want) to be something big, and those people showed me that I can make it happen.
