I would like to thank Lynn Norment immensely for the Sisterspeak column, "This Valentine's Day, Love Yourself," (Feb. 2003). It was truly a beautiful piece, encouraging women to take time out to love themselves on Valentine's Day. I feel we (women) sometimes get so caught up in being the fountain of endless love for our families and friends that we forget about ourselves.

This article is a reminder for me to make some time for myself and truly enjoy it. After all, Valentine's Day is a celebration of love. Why not love yourself?
