Jack Johnson's place in history has finally arrived, thanks to the EBONY article, "Jack Johnson And The Great White Hope, Part II" (Feb. 2005), and other media. Witnessing the great event in Reno was one of the highlights of my father's life. His revealing this experience to me was one of the highlights of my life.
