Sisters in the spotlight - Letters To The Editor

This is in response to the article, "Sisters In The Spotlight" (March 2003). I took special note of superstar Sheryl Swoopes.

Swoopes is certainly an inspiration in today's world of mixed-up societal values. She presents herself with her son in such an admirable light. There are no fancy frills or putons, just plain and simple truths that shine forth like a beacon.

I wish we could focus more on the simplistic necessities that are common to us all instead of wasting so much effort on the phoniness that weighs on us so often.
