Raven-Symone

Ebony, thank you for the article, "Raven-Symonr: All Grown Up & Flexing Her Brand" (March 2007). It was refreshing to see and read about a young, attractive, successful African-American female who is such an inspiration to many.
My 4-year-old, who's been a loyal fan of Raven's and her super hit show, That's So Raven, for about 2 1/2 years, aspires to be like her. Thank you, Raven, for paving the way for young ladies, especially African-American girls, to be a success in the Disney/Entertainment industry.

What a wonderful article on Raven-Symonr. Her parents have instilled values in her that are evident in the roles she accepts and the absence of gossip about her. Beauty, brains and a smart mind about money, what a combination for one so young!
However, the article about Raven was given a disservice by Ebony in the way her article was laid out. Much of the story was hard to read because of the various dark backgrounds. This is a story you want to share with young African-American ladies, emphasizing what you can gain by applying yourself, being comfortable with your size/shape and not selling yourself short to please others. The content of this article is a keeper.

Thank you for such a wonderful article on Raven. Thank you for showing us a more intimate side of the popular young lady. She was so beautiful on the cover. I am still beaming with pride and admiration after reading the article. I see a very positive young lady. May God bless Ebony magazine. Keep up the good work.

I enjoyed the cover story on Raven-Symone. I hope that more young people will follow in Raven's footsteps. Although I am a woman of a certain age, I enjoy That's So Raven probably more than the teen audience that her show targets. Hats off to Raven for staying humble and keeping it real.
