Thank you for the wonderful article, "Bernie Mac: TV Father Says Stop Coddling Our Children" (June 2003). I have been following his career since he first appeared on HBO's Def Comedy Jam, and he has come a long way since his early days in small comedy clubs in Chicago. Now he has his own TV show, was a part of the "Kings of Comedy" tour and has appeared in several movies, including the big-budget movie Ocean's Eleven.
We should all keep our eyes on Bernie Mac. The sky's the limit for him. Thank you again, EBONY, for an enjoyable article.
