Topic: RSS FeedHeading to the beach in style - New York Collection 03
Ebony, July, 2003 by Eunice W. Johnson
Warm weather is finally here, and thoughts turn to summer fun and what to wear to the family reunion, to picnics in the park, to pool parties and to the beach. New York designers have made the decisions easy by offering a variety of great selections. There is plenty of color, with lime green, purple/pink and blue being among the more popular hues. And it wouldn't be summer without summer whites, which continue to be favored during the warm weather season. Stripes are narrow and bold and everywhere, and colorful prints, such as those offered by Lilly Pulitzer, are popular in resort and swimwear. Accessories include bold jewelry, strappy sandals, big sunglasses and leather bags. Whatever your summer style, there is something that will flatter your figure--and your attitude--as you get set to make waves on the beach and elsewhere this summer.
