Celebrities tell best and worst dates

SPINDERELLA

My best date was a Valentine's Day when my date flew me in to his home. As I was approaching his house, I saw there were rose petals leading to his doorstep. As I entered the house, there were more and more rose petals leading to the bedroom door. When I finally reached the bedroom, there were several dozen roses all over the room. I also got a soothing massage. Very romantic.

ERIC BENET

I had a serious crush on a young lady all through high school, but she wouldn't give me the time of day. After I released my album, I ran into her at a club in Milwaukee and we had such a nice time we decided to get together the next evening. I planned a romantic evening -- dinner and a jazz club afterward. When we got to the club, I got a real surprise. My date had told all her friends that we were coming to the club, and I spent what I hoped would be a romantic evening for two talking to a bunch of people about the album, the music business and my career. Needless to say, we haven't been out since.

Fortunately, my best date made up for that bad experience. For months, I had seen this beautiful model on a bee advertisement that seemed to be everywhere. She stayed on my mind and one day I mentioned it to my cousin who, to my surprise, knew her. Thanks to him, we connected and spent several months getting to know each other. While we became very good friends, we didn't date right away because she was in the process of ending a difficult relationship. A few months after her relationship ended, we went on our first date. It was early fall in Milwaukee and we took a picnic basket lunch to the beach and spent a very special afternoon together. It was everything a date should be -- comfortable, romanatic, real.

MAIA CAMPBELL

My best date was a last-minute decision to go to the senior prom with my best friend. My stepfather helped me and out and took me shopping to pick out my dream gown. We stayed out all prom night! Our date was so much fun that we decided to continue it through the next day and went to Magic Mountain.
