Senior Kristil De'Shawn Henderson is Miss University of Maryland Eastern Shore. Her hobbies include acting and cheerleading.

Tracey Nikethia Scott is Miss University of Southern Mississippi. A dance major, she plans to teach dance after graduating.

Jermine Barry, 22, is a junior, a future computer operations executive and this year's Miss University of the Virgin islands.

Johnrae A. Stevenson, Miss University of Wisconsin-Parkside, would like to hold an executive position in a public relations firm.

Tamera Michelle Veale is Miss Virginia State University. A native of Portsmouth, Va., she would like to teach elementary school.

Tania Lacey-Peterson, an aspiring accountant is Miss Virginia Union University. She enjoys traveling and singing gospel music.

Cynthia Michelle Tillman, Miss Voorhees College, plays the violin. She would like to operate her own violin studio.

Miss Edward Waters College, Katina Denise Stephens, plans to pursue a career as computer analyst after graduating in April.

La'Leatha Charmane Ryan is Miss Wilberforce University. She is also a Red Cross volunteer and a member of the student government.

Kendra Michelle Alexander, Miss Wiley College, is a singer and a dancer who wants to become a corporate attorney.

Joy Demetrius Holmes is Miss Winston-Salem State University and a member of the National Association of Black Accountants.

Kiara Spooner is Miss Xavier University. The chemistry and pre-med student aspires to practice pediatric medicine.

Torra James of South Jamaica, Queens, N.Y, is Miss York College. She majors in community health education.

Atlanta native Christi D. Wagner is Miss Alabama A&M University and is an honor roll student on the Dean's List.

Alisha R. Albritten is Miss Albany State University. She plans to pursue master's and doctoral degrees in biology after graduation.

April LaChan Smith, Miss Alcorn State University, wants to become an emergency room doctor and provide health care to the poor.

Latisha C. M. Lightbourne is Miss Allen University. She hopes to become the executive-in-charge of Family Services in Bermuda.

Tonya Lynn Cook is Miss Arkansas Baptist College. She plays collegiate basketball and wants to work with disadvantaged youth.

Stephanie Conner, who enjoys writing poetry, is a senior biology major, a science club member and Miss Barber-Scotia College.

Tinikki Tamu Robinson, who plans to become a second lieutenant in the U.S. Army in May, is Miss Benedict college.

Jasmine Carmel Canady is Miss Bennett College. She wants to pursue a master's degree and teach school after graduation.

Sociology major Alisha Reckelle Winn, Miss Bethune-Cookman College, plans to pursue an advanced degree in social anthropology.

Miss Bowie State University, Mary Elizabeth Harris, enjoys shopping, reading and singing and wants to enter the TV or radio field.

Zewditu Menelik, a native of Addis Ababa in Ethiopia, is Miss Central State University. She is an aspiring public accountant.

Allana Phylicia Madyun is Ms. Cheyney University. A theater arts major, she plans to pursue a film and theater career.
