Susan Brooker, former director of the School of Dance Connecticut, heads the public dance program of the UNIVERSITY OF HARTFORD, HARTT SCHOOL COMMUNITY DIVISION, offering ballet, jazz, tap, and hip-hop classes. A $302,000 grant from the Hartford Foundation for Public Giving provides tuition for city youth in financial need.
