Topic: RSS FeedAuditions lists and services - Dancing Las Vegas - Brief Article - Directory
Dance Magazine, March, 2003 by Daniel Ari
Finding out about auditions is largely a matter of networking. Nothing succeeds like getting to know other dancers and teachers, taking classes, reading callboards, and listening to what people have to say.
CallBack has been published locally by Minnie Madden since 1989. Originally titled Dirt Alert, CallBack reaches a worldwide audience. It lists auditions for professional shows, from Cirque du Soleil and Jubilee! to smaller productions. Clients include Disney, Universal Studios, cruise lines, touring shows, and the Moulin Rouge in Paris, France (not to be confused with the Paris casino on the Strip).
For frequent news about auditions, check out VegasAuditions.com. The site claims, "VegasAuditions.com sends email every time a new audition is posted." Lasvegasentertainers.com is a directory of talent and also has a casting-board section full of opportunities.
