TRINITY COLLEGE OF MUSIC and LABAN in London will merge in August 2004, creating the first dedicated conservatory for music and dance in the U.K. While each institution will maintain separate degree programs, the partnership will allow for collaborations among composers, choreographers, and performers.

Heading the alliance will be Gavin Henderson, with Anthony Bowne directing LABAN and Derek Aviss directing Trinity. www.laban.org.
