LOTUS Music and Dance, a studio in Manhattan that teaches traditional dances from the far corners of the earth, collaborates with the Department of Continuing Education at the Graduate Center of the City University of New York to present "Dancing Across Cultural Borders" April 2 and 3. The series includes Bharata Natyam from south India, traditional Korean dance, Burmese dance, Hula add Tahitian, West African dance and drumming, the Mohawk Singers and Dancers, ancient Tibetan song and dance, tribal dances from the Philippines, and Odissi temple dances from north eastern India. The performances, which take place at CUNY Graduate Center, will all have live music.
