Winners of the Choo-San Goh Awards for Choreography were announced at the close of 2001. The grants go to support new works to be added to a company's repertoire. Winners included Houston Ballet and choreographer Natalie Weir, Limon Dance Company and Adam Hoagland, and Ballet Hispanico and Pedro Ruiz.
