The likelihood
In many graduate programs, there may be as many as forty applicants for two or three openings. It's like an audition; you must be able to tolerate rejection and profit from it. Contact the director of graduate admissions and ask for an analysis of your application and why you were not selected. Use that information to apply again for another semester or to another school. And if you are selected on the first try, pass along your success story to other dancers.
