Jiyul, the Korean Buddhist nun protesting the digging of a train tunnel in an environmentally sensitive area (NCR, Feb. 11), ended her water-and-tea-only fast on its 100th day, Feb. 3, after Korean Prime Minister Lee Hae-chan visited her and agreed to conduct an environmental impact assessment of the project.
