DESCRIPTION: Continuing education, postmaster's certificate in the practice of spirituality, certificate in collaborative leadership or liturgy. The Boston College IREPM's continuing education program is designed for those seeking to update professional skills and for those seeking personal enrichment. All courses can be taken for professional updating or continuing education. The post-master's certificate in the practice of spirituality is a summer program designed for persons experienced in ministry with an earned master's-level degree or the equivalent in a theological area. The purpose of the program is to enable pastoral leaders to become spiritual mentors for persons and for Christian communities of faith. The certificate in collaborative leadership is designed to enhance leadership abilities for parish ministry, religious education, youth ministry, supervision, chaplaincy, liturgical celebration, and other church ministries. The liturgy certificate is available to provide an opportunity to integrate liturgical theory and practice in liturgical ministries. The IREPM's flexible, self-designed study program may be pursued full-time during a sabbatical or part-time. Housing and financial aid are available for all programs.
